Tap a fish to reel it in

Calm Catch

Calm Catch is a slow, idle fishing game. Fish swim around your little boat; tap them to reel them in and spend the coins on a tree of upgrades.

How to play

There are no rounds. Fishing starts at once, and the game saves as you go.

  1. Tap a fish to reel it in before it dives. Bigger fish pay more.
  2. Spend coins on the Tackle Tree. Pick a circle, then press Buy. Each level costs more than the last.

The tree has four branches:

Once you buy the Crew License, your crew keeps fishing while the game is closed, for up to 2 hours. Night Lanterns and Tide Tables add hours.

Controls

Pearls and boats

After earning a million coins in one voyage, you can sail on from the Pearls tab. You give up your coins and the Tackle Tree for pearls and a better boat. Each boat doubles what every fish is worth, up to the Pearl Galleon. A voyage holds at most 10 pearls, one more each voyage, and a better boat needs more coins per pearl.

Pearls buy upgrades that you keep for good. On the tree, dotted pearl circles open new branches, such as the Fish Finder that brings tuna. Below each branch, two deeper sections open for 10 and then 25 pearls. In the Pearl Locker, Prized Catch raises every fish's price by half, and the Golden Koi Legend sends a golden koi now and then. Tap it and all fishing pays seven times more for a while.

Scoring

Your score is the total coins you have ever earned; spending and sailing on never lower it. The leaderboard ranks this all-time total.
